Jeden z naszych kluczy obcych używa indeksu klucza podstawowego. Oznacza to, że nie możemy usunąć takiego indeksu!

Chyba że utworzymy indeks dla klucza obcego lub usuniemy sam klucz:
mysql> ALTER TABLE foo_bar
-> DROP FOREIGN KEY `foo_bar_fk1`;

Records: 0 Duplicates: 0 Warnings: 0
mysql> ALTER TABLE foo_bar

Wniosek jest taki, że MySQL tworzy indeksy automatycznie, gdy są one wymagane przez daną funkcjonalność (ale tylko wtedy, gdy są one absolutnie konieczne).
